NAU - NURSING HOME "SENIOR HOME SPÄTSUMMER" IN NAUMBURG EXTENSION AND NEW BUILDING

The Spätsommer senior residence was built on the basis of an architectural competition that was won. Conservation requirements from the existing care building were implemented in detail and the necessary funding application was drawn up.

The architectural design of the extension creates a pleasant contrast to the existing building. The extension and new building with 60 spaces were created in

six residential groups. There is a station point for each residential group on each floor, two residential groups per floor. The rooms are designed for both single and double occupancy.

The senior residence has rooms for occupational therapy, a full kitchen, a cafeteria, common areas and a foyer. The building is in a prime inner-city location with very good transport links.
