BAK - NEW BUILDING OF CHILDREN'S REHABILITY CENTER FOR POSTOPERATIVE REHABILITATION NZSSH AN, BAKULEV OF THE RUSSIAN ACADEMY OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
As general planners, we supervised the new construction of the Children's Rehabilitation Center for Postoperative Rehabilitation / NZSSH AN Bakulev of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences in the Russian Federation.
The building site is located in western Moscow. The building, located west of the existing building, is divided into two four-storey blocks, connected by a central building, with the main entrance facing east (towards the existing building). One block, which accommodates rehabilitation patients, faces west towards the nature reserve. The other contains the functional rooms for rehabilitation (physiotherapy, consulting doctors, empty rooms, etc.). The central wing contains a foyer with an atrium and common rooms for the residential groups. The central building is also the central starting point for the logistical and functional development of the building. Meeting the fire protection requirements in accordance with Russian regulations was of great importance in the project.
