BLO - RUSSIAN SCIENTIFIC CENTER N.N. BLOCHIN OF THE STATE ACADEMY OF MEDICAL SCIENCES

In Moscow, we planned the rehabilitation, restructuring and functional reorganization of the "NN Blokhin Russian Scientific Oncology Center of the Russian State Academy of Medical Sciences".

A particularly broad surgical profile is being implemented here as part of oncological therapy. The measures were carried out while hospital and surgical operations were ongoing in stages and included the reconstruction and functional reorganization of:

• 24 operating rooms,

• a recovery area with 12 beds,

• an intensive therapy area with 12 beds,

• 2 emergency operating rooms,

• central sterilization,

• 2 radiological operating rooms and

• a bone marrow transplantation department,

• MRI diagnostics with all associated ancillary rooms.

Fulfilling the fire protection requirements according to Russian regulations was of great importance in the project.
