HIL - SPECIALIZED CLINIC FOR NEUROLOGY OF THE AHG SOCIETY IN HILCHENBACH

The task was the conception, overall planning and construction supervision of the interior design in the clinic for early neurological rehabilitation. The building forms the specialist clinic and at the same time a rehabilitation center for neurology and neuropsychology with 210 places.

Comfort and convenience of the furnishings as well as integration into a well-thought-out modern rehabilitation concept were the basis for the planning and design. Particular consideration was given to the high sensitivity of the use (aphasia ward, special ward for memory and orientation disorders, trial apartment). The clinic also has a department for therapy diagnostics, speech therapy, music therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy and special hand therapy.

It has 114 single and 48 double rooms, and triple rooms are also available. All rooms are handicapped and wheelchair accessible. The clinic also has various lounges, a library, cafeteria and a swimming pool, as well as an intensive care unit, neurodiagnostics including electroencephalography and electromyography, biomechanical measuring stations and X-ray fluoroscopy.
