NIT - NEW CONSTRUCTION OF THE NIZHNIJ TAGIL MEDICAL CENTER IN RUSSIA

In the city of Nizhny Tagil near Yekaterinburg, Russia, a hospital with a level I care level was to be built in order to fully develop the medical technology at the site. The existing shell of a two-storey building was to be connected to the six-storey new building and designed as a single unit.

In addition to the shape of the first building, which is predetermined by the existing supporting structure, two parallel six-storey buildings are connected by a two-storey connector and form a compact complex building in the urban area of Nizhny Tagil.

The medical center is a completely new hospital building consisting of four individual buildings.

Component 1: medical care rooms (an operating department with 3 operating rooms vertically connected to the central sterilization department, a resuscitation department, various outpatient departments, a radiology department), visitor cloakroom and large foyer and a conference room.

Component 2: central connector of the components with reception, central registration offices, pharmacy, cafeteria and administration rooms.

Component 3: Physiotherapy departments and bed wards; technical centers are located between components 2 and 3.

Component 4: Kitchen, laboratories, bed stations
