CRG - CAMPUS RUTHENEUM IN GERA NEW SCHOOL BUILDING

The listed existing building will be connected to the future new building via a new connecting structure. The new extension is a four-storey building with a basement. The walls and ceilings of the shell construction consist of semi-finished parts. The shell construction will be partially built using monolithic construction. The facade, roof and foundation areas are insulated with foam glass in accordance with the energy concept in order to meet the requirements of the EnEV 2014. The foundation is a bored pile foundation.

The internal building structure follows a functional concept. The classroom equipment is modern and future-oriented. Each classroom has touch panel whiteboards, audio-video systems and other device connection options via media rails in the teacher area. The height of the classrooms and modern lighting concepts create a pleasant learning environment. Special classrooms for biology, chemistry and physics have experimental laboratories and associated equipment.
