S64 - STUDENT HOUSING IN SCHLIEPERSTRASSE BERLIN/ GENERAL PLANNING

Renovation of residential and commercial areas at Schlieperstraße 64 in Berlin with
Addition of a full and split-level storey and conversion into a student residence. In the spirit of sustainable construction, the addition is planned as a wooden modular structure, the roof will be designed as a green roof and also used as a roof terrace.

There is currently a three-storey building with a basement on the site of Schlieperstrasse 64 / Treskowstrasse 17-18 in Berlin, which was primarily used for commercial purposes. There is also a residential use. The project task involves planning and construction monitoring services for the conversion of the building in question.

The intended use is student housing.
The aim is to find an intelligent, attractive room layout and architecture that is adapted to the building structure, with particular attention to cost-effectiveness. A high level of space efficiency is expressly desired. The aim is to achieve the energy standard KFW Efficiency House 55. The building is to be redesigned in all areas, including the residential use on the 2nd floor and the commercial use on the ground floor and 1st floor.

The project is implemented as a BIM project.
